The idea for Peakout didn't start with a business plan or an investor. It started with a frustration. A simple, recurring annoyance that every tall man or woman will recognize: sportswear that just doesn't fit. Sleeves that are too short. Legs too short. Barely any choice. And then coming home again without something that really fits.

For Nadine, the drop was after an afternoon shopping in The Hague with her husband who is two meters tall. Again, no pants found. Again concessions. The feeling: “Why is there still nothing for people like us?”

When Nadine shared her frustration with other tall people, the puzzle pieces fell into place. It is a very recognizable problem for all tall people. Not globally, but in detail. “It feels like you're wearing clothes that aren't meant for you,” she heard over and over again. And then the penny dropped: this isn't just about fabric and sizes. This is about being seen. Belonging. Being able to be yourself in what you wear.

That realization was the beginning of something new. And so Peakout was born.

Peakout was born out of that lack.

A brand for tall people, by a woman who was tired of settling for ‘just not. Who felt that things had to be different. And so Nadine delved into the world of fits, fabrics, production and fashion. She learned to read patterns, visited ateliers, tested fabrics for comfort herself. Everything that wasn't there yet, she started building.

Peakout is for everyone who is tired of wearing rolled-up sleeves and high-water pants. For those who no longer want to adapt to clothes, but want clothes that fit you. Not a standard line with extra fabric. Peakout is designed from the ground up for longer bodies, in style, comfort and appearance.

Because why should you have to choose between fit or look? Why should you settle for less when you can do better?
