To ensure that our products are delivered to the correct address and to the correct addressee, it is necessary that you provide Peakout with your personal data. We then process these personal data for the following purposes:

 

    • To (have) your order processed and delivered;
    • To manage payment for your order;
    • To keep you informed of the status of your order;
    • To handle any return shipping.

The basis for this is the performance of the agreement you have with Peakout.

 

    • For sending our newsletter and/or other commercial messages and creating a customer account

Peakout may also use your personal data (just your email address) for direct marketing and communication purposes. For example, to send you communications about offers from Peakout or its affiliates that are relevant to you.

The processing in this case takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest. In case you are not a customer, but have indicated on the Website that you want to receive our newsletter/marketing, the basis is the consent given by you to receive the newsletter. Some personal data (obtained through cookies) are processed by Peakout in order to monitor and improve the Website, collect statistics and secure the Website. 7. How long do we keep personal data?

We do not keep your personal data (except email address) longer than necessary.

If there is a legal retention obligation (such as that of records of 7 years), we will adhere to those time limits. In that case, the personal data will be properly destroyed after the retention obligation, unless a specific legal basis requires us to retain your data longer anyway.

 

8. How are personal data secured?

Peakout has appropriate organizational and technical measures in place to counter abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification of your personal data.
